Brady, considered by many as the greatest quarterback to ever grace the game, brought the curtain down on his legendary career in February after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were dumped out of the NFL playoffs by the Dallas Cowboys.
After being paid more than $530million over the course of his 23 seasons in the NFL, it’s fair to say the seven-time Super Bowl champion had enough money in the bank to ride off into the sunset.
And on Sunday, that’s pretty much what he did.
Brady could be seen kicking back and relaxing on his yacht as he enjoyed the calm waters of the bay in Miami, where he looked to be thoroughly enjoying life as a former athlete.
The 46-year-old put his AirPods in and at one stage took off his shirt as he caught some rays in the glorious Florida sunshine.
He did so as his beloved New England Patriots were beaten by the Las Vegas Raiders, marking their third consecutive loss and fifth defeat out of six this season.
Donaldson, 25, jokingly implied that the league’s TV ratings would ‘take off’ should he come out of retirement. Much to his amusement, Brady described the idea as ‘smart’ before he said: ‘I’m not coming out of retirement.’
Gray then chimed in, asking ‘Tommy’ to ‘take the advice’ and to ‘try it again!’
Brady, however, continued to pour cold water on the suggestion, letting everyone on the show know that he ‘can’t tease’ when it comes to unretiring.
‘My parents would call, my kids would call. They would kill me. I wouldn’t be around by tonight,’ he jokingly said.
